Amid ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake’s DUI arrest, Britney Spears shares her happiness in life’s simple pleasures, reflecting on past struggles in her memoir.
Britney Spears celebrates “little things in life” following the arrest of her ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake, on June 18, 2024. Timberlake, 43, was arrested in Sag Harbor, Long Island, for driving while intoxicated. Police reported the incident occurred after Timberlake left the American Hotel, a popular celebrity hangout. He allegedly ran a stop sign and subsequently swerved, leading to his arrest.
Timberlake purportedly consumed “one martini,” but displayed signs of intoxication, failing field sobriety tests and refusing a breathalyzer. He was released without bail and is scheduled to return to court on July 26.
Simultaneously, Spears, 42, posted images on social media of herself enjoying a cocktail in Las Vegas, citing enjoyment of “the little things.” Spears claims in her memoir, “The Woman in Me,” that Timberlake encouraged her to have an abortion during their relationship and later ended things via text.
Police and representatives for Timberlake have not commented on the incident, which adds to a series of high-profile scandals linked to the American Hotel.
